Worship with us this Sunday
We are a union of two congregations – previously St Andrew’s Erskine Church and Townhill & Kingseat Church, aiming to strengthen everyday faith for everyday people.
Message from the Minister
Resurrection….
As we read the story in the Gospel of Matthew 28:1–10, we are invited to walk quietly beside Mary Magdalene and the other Mary as they make their way to the tomb at dawn, carrying grief in their hearts yet still holding on to love and faith. And then comes the message that changes everything: “He is not here; he has risen.” There could be no greater comfort to a world that so often carries sorrow and uncertainty. The Gospels remind us that faithful women were present at the empty tomb, sharing in the joy and wonder of the resurrection morning.
What matters most is the beautiful truth that Christ’s grace, forgiveness, mercy, and hope are offered to everyone. The living hope of the resurrection calls us, here in our own community, to share God’s love with all whom we meet — the stranger who visits our church, the neighbour who feels weary, the person who is struggling quietly, and those who often feel pushed to the edges of life.
May the Lord give us the courage, in Dunfermline, and beyond, to speak and live the message that Christ is risen and that His love is stronger than fear or division. In a world where faith is sometimes questioned, and Christian witness can feel challenged, may we still be bold enough to say with quiet conviction, “I have seen the Lord.”
With every blessing,
André
